WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY CONEXION 2023 REGISTRATION?

CAN I UPGRADE MY INCLUDED BEVERAGE PACKAGE?

Yes, you can upgrade from the Classic Beverage Package to the Premium Beverage Package for $18/night/guest.  To request, please call (844) 418-6824.

WHAT DO I NEED TO HAVE TO REGISTER FOR CONEXION?

Nexion advisors will need the following to register:

For each person in your stateroom, you will need:

  • Your Nexion ID
  • First & Last legal names, as on passports
  • Gender (as defined by Celebrity Cruises)
  • Date of birth
  • Citizenship
  • Celebrity Cruises Captain Club #, if applicable (not required)
  • Specific stateroom category
  • Preferred Dining Time (6:00 pm or 8:30 pm)
  • Pre-Cruise Email Address (must be unique for each passenger)
  • Pre-Cruise Phone Number (must be unique for each passenger)
  • Names of those in the stateroom, 21 years or older, who will also be attending CoNexion functions
  • Credit card information for the deposit

I HAVE ATTENDED PAST CONEXIONS; SHOULD I GO AGAIN IN 2023?

You bet! Just as your business changes yearly, so does CoNexion to meet your ever-changing needs. Of course, 2023 is the year you do NOT want to miss CoNexion, as we’ll be onboard the beautiful Celebrity Equinox. CoNexion 2023 will also better than ever and will showcase engaging workshops, dynamic industry leaders, surprises, and prizes galore!

Because CoNexion will be held on one of the industry’s most beautiful and fun cruise ships, we may be holding some of the sessions in unconventional venues! Plus, because we’ll be at sea, we’re thrilled to offer some exciting events and experiences you just can’t experience with a land-based conference!

WILL THERE BE PRE- OR POST-CONFERENCE OPPORTUNITIES?

We are not offering any pre- or post-activities, as we’ll have a full agenda during our week at sea.

I AM INTERESTED IN FINDING A ROOMMATE DURING CONEXION. HOW DO I DO THIS?

If you are interested in finding a roommate during CoNexion, we encourage you to please see the Roommate Needed group in NexionTown.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR CONEXION 2023?

The dress code during CoNexion functions is resort casual; however, please remember to bring a sweater or jacket, as temperatures may vary. Of course, you’ll want to bring your cruise wear for port days and enjoying time on the ship. Any party themes or “Evening Chic” attire nights will be shared at least a month before so that you can pack accordingly.

WHERE CAN I ADDRESS MY ADA SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS?

During registration, you will be asked to list any special needs. Please be specific when describing any special needs.  A limited number of wheelchair-accessible staterooms will be available when registration opens.  Please note that once our allotment of wheelchair-accessible staterooms are sold out, we will be unable to add more.

WILL MY CONTACT INFORMATION OR IMAGE BE SHARED?

Our top sponsors receive an attendee list prior to CoNexion, so they can invite you to special events they may have during or around the conference. In addition, we may use video and/or photography of all CoNexion functions and attendees for marketing purposes.

WILL THERE BE A CONEXION APP AGAIN THIS YEAR?

Yes, there will be a mobile app once again this year. More details will be shared as we get closer to our sailing.

WHAT IS THE LAST DAY I CAN REGISTER FOR CONEXION?

June 15 is the last day to register for CoNexion. However, we anticipate selling out before then. Full payment will be required for any registrations made after June 1, 2023.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I WANT TO BOOK NOW BUT AM NOT SURE WHO I WILL BE TRAVELING WITH?

If you plan to add a second person to your stateroom but do not know who that person is when you register, you should reserve a double stateroom. If you don’t know your second passenger information when you register, please register yourself and then once received, please send the second passenger information to conexion@nexion.com. Please note, however, that if you do not add a second person, you will be responsible for the entire stateroom double occupancy price. We have a very limited number of Single Occupancy staterooms available. Therefore, switching from a double stateroom to a single stateroom will not be possible.

Note: When booking a double occupancy stateroom, you will be required to pay the full cabin deposit of $500 USD for both passengers.

I NEED TO MAKE A CHANGE TO MY ATTENDEE INFORMATION; WHAT DO I DO?

Any changes need to be submitted through the Events team by emailing conexion@nexion.com. Changes must be submitted by July 20, 2023.

CELEBRITY CRUISES HAS THE INCORRECT INFORMATION. WHAT DO I DO?

Any changes need to be submitted through the Events team by emailing conexion@nexion.com.

I NEED TO MAKE A PAYMENT; DO I CALL CELEBRITY CRUISES OR NEXION?

To make a payment, please email conexion@nexion.com, and the Events team will call you back within three business days to take that payment information. Celebrity Cruises does not accept payments directly from our attendees.

WHEN IS FINAL PAYMENT DUE?

Final payment is due May 22, 2023. An email with payment instructions will be sent prior to this date to all registered attendees with an outstanding balance on how to make final payment.

CAN I PAY BY CHECK?

No. Only credit cards are accepted through the online registration process.

CAN I USE MULTIPLE CREDIT CARDS TO MAKE THE DEPOSIT FOR MY STATEROOM?

No. Only one credit card can be used for the deposit. Multiple credit cards can be used for final payment.

IS THERE A PAYMENT PLAN?

You will make two payments per cabin. The first initial deposit via credit card will be $250 per person in your stateroom, followed by a final payment due May 22, 2023.

CAN I BOOK A TRAVEL AGENT REDUCED RATE DIRECTLY WITH CELEBRITY CRUISES?

Travel Agent reduced rates are currently not available. To be eligible to attend CoNexion, you must book your stateroom through our group block.

CAN I BOOK MY OWN CABIN OUTSIDE OF THE CONEXION GROUP AND STILL ATTEND THE CONEXION FUNCTIONS?

No. Your cabin must be booked through our group in order to be registered for CoNexion.

ARE THERE ANY SUITES AVAILABLE TO BOOK?

Yes. We have a small number of category Sunset Sky Suites available. We do expect these suites to sell out quickly.

ARE TRIPLE AND QUADS AVAILABLE?

Yes, we have a few triple and quad staterooms. We do expect triple and quads to sell out early.

CAN I REQUEST A SPECIFIC CABIN?

All CoNexion staterooms are on a guarantee. You will be notified of your stateroom number just prior to CoNexion.

HOW MANY STATEROOMS CAN I BOOK?

Each stateroom must have at least one Nexion Travel Group advisor registered for the stateroom. The registered advisor(s) must attend at least 50% of the general sessions and the trade show in order to be eligible for the CoNexion stateroom rate. Failure to attend the required functions will result in a surcharge of $1500 per cabin associated with that advisor.

IS TRAVEL INSURANCE INCLUDED OR ARE YOU OFFERING?

Travel insurance is not being sold by Nexion and is not included in the stateroom pricing. We do recommend that you sell yourself insurance coverage from one of our travel insurance supplier partners (refer to myNexion>Nexion Hub>Travel Insurance).

ARE THERE ANY EARLY BIRD PROMOTIONS BEING GIVEN ON CONEXION REGISTRATION?

As we expect to sell out very quickly, there are no early bird promotions.

THIS SEEMS TOO EXPENSIVE.

Please keep in mind that the cost is for seven nights onboard a fabulously fun and gorgeous cruise ship on an amazing itinerary, PLUS everything you normally expect from CoNexion. When you factor in the expenses of a land-based, four-day/three-night CoNexion, the per diem per person is comparable to CoNexion 2023.

CAN I BRING A NON-ADVISOR GUEST?

Yes, but only registered attendees are allowed in CoNexion functions, General Sessions, workshops and the Trade Show. Registered advisor(s) must attend at least three general sessions and the trade show in order to be eligible for the CoNexion stateroom rate. Please note that to participate in CoNexion events, your guest must be 21 years or older. All CoNexion attendees will be required to wear their designated name badge to all conference functions.

ARE THERE DISCOUNTS FOR GUESTS NOT ATTENDING CONEXION?

No. They are benefiting from your CoNexion participation, discounted rate and amenities.

CAN I DO A NAME CHANGE ONCE I’VE MADE MY RESERVATION?

Yes, name changes can be made through July 20, 2023. Please email conexion@nexion.com.

WHAT OTHER EXPENSES WILL I HAVE?

Transportation to/from the port, optional shore excursions, meals while ashore, certain beverages not included in the Classic Beverage Package, photographs, telephone calls, specialty restaurant charges onboard, purchases from the ship stores, medical services, laundry, and spa treatments are not included in the stateroom price.

CAN I CONTACT MY OWN CELEBRITY CRUISES BDM TO REQUEST AN UPGRADE?

No upgrades will be available for this sailing.

HOW DO I KNOW I HAVE BEEN REGISTERED?

When you register, you will receive an automated confirmation email containing your confirmation number and the details of your registration. If you do not receive a confirmation email within a few hours of registering for CoNexion, please notify us at conexion@nexion.com.

HOW DO I VIEW/MODIFY MY REGISTRATION?

Send an email to conexion@nexion.com. Once workshops and supplier roundtables open in late summer of 2021, we’ll add instructions on how to modify your registration to add your sessions.

I HAVE FORGOTTEN MY CONFIRMATION NUMBER. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Your confirmation number is listed in your registration confirmation email. If you no longer have your confirmation number, email conexion@nexion.com.

UNFORTUNATELY, I NEED TO CANCEL. HOW DO I CANCEL?

Please send your cancellation request to conexion@nexion.com. Cancellations made by November 30, 2022 can be made with no penalty. A 50% penalty of your paid deposit will be in place from December 1, 2022 through March 31, 2023. Cancellations made between April 1, 2023 and May 22, 2023 will result in a 75% penalty of your deposit. Beginning May 23, 2023, all cancellations have a 100% penalty of the full amount paid.

IF I DECIDE TO CANCEL MY PAID REGISTRATION, WILL I GET A REFUND?

Yes, depending on the date.
• Cancellations made by November 30, 2022 can be made with no penalty.
• A 50% penalty of your paid deposit will be in place from December 1, 2022 through March 31, 2023.
• Cancellations made between April 1, 2023 and May 22, 2023 will result in a 75% penalty of your deposit.

CAN I USE A REWARD CERTIFICATE FOR THE DEPOSIT ON THIS EVENT?

No. Reward certificates cannot be used for payment on a Convention, Meetings & Incentive group as ours.

WILL I BE ELIGIBLE FOR ANY CAPTAIN CLUB PROGRAM BENEFITS?

Yes, Captain Club members will receive their full onboard benefits. The only exception is the one category upgrade does not apply to contracted groups.

CAN I USE A FUTURE CRUISE CREDIT FOR THE DEPOSIT ON THIS EVENT?

No. Reward certificates cannot be used for payment on a Convention, Meetings & Incentive group as ours.

WILL THERE BE DOWN TIME TO VISIT THE PORT AND EXPLORE THE SHIP?

Absolutely! That’s why we chose an eight-night cruise, so you can attend CoNexion while still enjoying this amazing ship and ports.

WILL WE HAVE ASSIGNED DINING SEATING AS A GROUP? I’D LIKE TO EAT WITH MY FAMILY.

During registration, you will select early seating at 6:00pm or late seating at 8:30pm for your entire stateroom.

WILL THERE BE ASSIGNED TABLES AT THE GENERAL SESSIONS?

The General Sessions will take place in the theatre so there will not be assigned tables.

WILL I BE ABLE TO PRE-BOOK SPECIALTY DINING AND SHOWS?

Yes, through the Celebrity Cruises’ website prior to the cruise. Further details will be provided.

WILL THERE BE SPECIAL AIR PROMOTIONS TO/FROM FORT LAUDERDALE?

Information will be posted once received. Please refer to the CoNexion website (access through https://nexion.com/conexion-2023/) in late fourth quarter.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I BOOK MY FLIGHTS?

Check-in is scheduled from 11:30am – 2:30pm (being the latest) However, you will schedule an arrival time while checking in on the mobile app or website. For the best check-in and boarding experience, Celebrity Cruises suggests you should arrive only during your pre-selected check-in/wellness screening time.  For return flights, Celebrity Cruises suggests booking flights departing from the Fort Lauderdale Airport no earlier than 11:30 am and from the Miami Airport no earlier than 12:30 pm.

WHAT ARE TRANSFER OPTIONS TO/FROM THE AIRPORTS TO THE CRUISE TERMINAL?

You may book transfers on your own or through Celebrity Cruises.  To book transfers through Celebrity Cruises, you will contact them directly once you have received your booking number.  Here are the details of the transfers:

Arrivals on August 19, 2023:

Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) – $15.95 per person please note the latest arrival for transfers is 1:00 pm
Miami International Airport (MIA) – $29.95 per person please note the latest arrival for transfers is 12:00 pm

Departures on August 27, 2023:

To Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) – $15.95 per person please note the earliest departure flight for transfers is 11:30am
To Miami International Airport (MIA) – $29.95 per person please note the earliest departure flight for transfers is 12:30pm

WILL THERE BE A ROOM BLOCK NEAR THE PORT FOR THE EVENING BEFORE THE CRUISE?

No. As we are sailing from Fort Lauderdale, we encourage you to explore the area before sailing and suggest you look for a travel discount at a nearby hotel.

DO I HAVE TO REGISTER FOR WORKSHOPS/SPECIAL EVENTS/RECEPTIONS TO BE ABLE TO ATTEND THEM?

Yes, to participate in any workshop, special event, and evening receptions, you must be registered by making those selections once they are available.

WHEN CAN I SIGN UP FOR WORKSHOPS AND SUPPLIER ROUNDTABLES?

Workshops and roundtables will open in the summer of 2023. You will be notified via email through conexion@nexion.com with instructions. Therefore, it is extremely important that the email address you use on your registration is one that you check regularly.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY AGENDA FOR WORKSHOPS/EVENTS THAT I HAVE REGISTERED FOR?

You will receive an email agenda prior to CoNexion.

I WAS NOT ABLE TO SIGN UP FOR THE WORKSHOPS/ROUNDTABLES/EVENTS THAT I WANTED. WHAT CAN I DO?

You may “stand by” for a workshops and roundtables by going to the door before the workshop time and letting the workshop door monitor know you would like to attend the workshop. If there is room available, they will let you in.

HOW WILL I KNOW IF WORKSHOPS ARE GEARED FOR MY LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE?

The workshop descriptions will include information to help distinguish the audience and who is best suited to attend.

WHAT DO I DO IF SOMEONE IN MY STATEROOM HAS A SPECIAL DIETARY NEED?

After you receive your booking confirmation, you will be able to contact a special team at Celebrity that can help with special dietary requests.  This information will be shared in the email that is sent with your booking confirmation.
